The K9 Kids

While all of our parents who have brought dogs on Treks have been nothing but respectful, we ask that dogs stay home on future hikes . We have grown quite a bit and already take up a lot of room on the trails. There have been people in the last couple of weeks who would like to join but are concerned about dogs. Most of us have K9 kids and should all of us decide to bring them one day, mayhem would ensue and our purpose would get lost. We don't want to tell you what to do, if you feel bringing your dog is important to you then we just ask that they be leased in accordance with muni regs. Taiga Trekkers would like to keep our focus on hiking and being outside with our children.

Again, this is not a reactionary move, it is more of a proactive request.
